As far back as I can remember, I have always had a love for music. As a child, I grow up listening to Oldies with my Dad On 45rpm Records and with my Dad being a Dj . I was exposed to such great DJ's as Mad Mike Metrovich & Porky Chedwick. As I got older I received my first DJ gig at Bethel Park High School in 11th grade. As I got a little older I moved onto bigger things, I started Deejaying at Bars, Clubs, Weddings & Graduations. In 1996 I worked in a Bar called " The Rock-A-Bye Café "it was located in Bethel Park, PA. Local Bands would come in on Thursday nights to hear me Deejay. I knew this one Band called "The Order of Nine" really well and they would stop in after practice to listen to me. One night I asked them for one of the Bands CD's and I throw it into my CD Player. The Bar really liked them. Eventually, it caught on and other Local Pittsburgh Bands started bringing me their CD's. This is how ,Metal Shop 101, was born. Metal Shop 101 was Rocking and I had a lot of fun doing it. It was a chance for Local Pittsburgh Bands to let the Listeners hear their music and see what people thought. After about 4 years of Metal Shop 101 I decided to put it to rest and move onto other Ventures. Recently, I started a Web Page on My Space and I started writing reviews on different Local Bands. It started catching on and an Internet Radio Station called " Infernal Rock Radio.com" was very interested in what I was doing. They checked out my page and wanted me to write for their Radio Station. They also asked me about my background and my love for music. I told them of my history and the next thing you know they asked me if I would like to do my own Internet Radio Show. I was like "Yeah!!!" So on October 9th 2008 "Metal Shop 101"- was finally resurrected and is now world wide live! This show now gives the Local Pittsburgh Bands and all other Local Bands World Wide a chance to be heard throughout the United States and other Countries as well as Overseas. Metal Shop 101 is the only Internet Radio Show that Supports the Local Metal Scene right out of the Blast Furnace in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Every week I spend countless hours preparing for my show that airs on Sunday nights starting at 8:00 p.m. EST. I had a P.O. Box opened for Local Bands to send their CD's and Press Kits and I also have an e-mail address for them to send me their MP3's. I keep the music fresh and updated with new music from the Local Metal Bands however we have our Alumni Bands that are played every week. Such as: Order of Nine, Vicious Cycle, Sacred Dominion, & Dofka just to name a few from the Pittsburgh area Metal Scene.
